Ask God for Favor with God and Favor with People

1. Favor for witnessing
2. People learn God’s wisdom from our counsel
3. God to go before us and prepare the way & open doors of opportunity
4. God to go before us and prepare people’s attitudes and wills
5. God to cause people to like us, listen to us and want to be with us.

Luke 2:52 -- “So Jesus grew both in height and in wisdom, and he was loved by God and by all who knew him.”

Psalm 37:1-7 – “Don't worry about the wicked. Don't envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away.Like springtime flowers, they soon wither. Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the LORD,and he will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence as clear as the dawn,and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. Be still in the presence of the LORD,and wait patiently for him to act. Don't worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.”

Acts 2:22-27 – “A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything they had. They sold their possessions and shared the proceeds with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity--all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.”
