Settling In

We moved to DFW about a month ago. It has been a fast transition with a fun learning curve to say the least. I think this week we are settling into a pretty good routine, and trying to find that coveted rhythm of life.

The house is really looking great, thanks to a lot of hard work from Dara, as well as, here parents. David and Lorraine have been here for about a week, working night and day nearly. It has been awesome to have their insight and flavor on the decorating side of things.

At Fellowship Church, it has been amazing. Our singles ministry is clicking along, and Im getting my role here dialed in. Its a joy and honor to be able to work at such an awesome church, that is focused on reaching people every weekend.

I was able to get on the baptism schedule already! I had the honor of baptizing several Sunday afternoon, from a young girl 10 or 11, to mature adults who have accepted Christ recently. It was awesome!

Hi Joshua - I just happened on your blog today. I am Christian and live in Central New York. What a blessing to see that God spoke to you to leave your job...and sent one your way without you having to take matters into your own hands.
Praise the Lord for the work He does in our lives. Praise the Lord for your faith to trust Him.
